I just spoke to YouTube support. It turns out channels can get demonetized for using Text to Speech. There is no way to differentiate a text to speech strike from anything else that would get a video demonetized. There is also no public information about this policy.

@SirSwagYT Eventually I think games will go to a monthly multi-player subscription of probably $5/mo with cosmetic microtransactions and bundles of $25/mo for 15 mp games. But that would make sense so companies won't make it and consumers wouldn't buy it
