What a day. Able to get a new group of skaters on boards for the first time and help those who had one already learn to ollie. Even better that we got to use the smooth basement floors at Daybreak, an amazing place that does so much to help #daytonohio youth. #actuallyhyped

I'll be talking on this panel along with others next Friday. Specifically about what the #mindingthegap film says about young men in cities like Rockford (Illinois) and Nottingham which have lost a lot of well paid blue collar jobs, leading to economic precarity & low aspirations

Dayton Lady Jam was the best. Great turn out and the rain held off until evening. Plenty of youngsters pushed their first pushes. Tons of fun races, a best trick jam, and loads of prizes handed out to all. Thanks for coming out and to everybody who helped organize. #daytonohio

Spoke to 40 or so youngsters at the Dakota Center about the benefits of skateboarding yesterday. The level of excitement was so rad - even seeing us play SKATE was somehow interesting😂 Have to work out the additional logistics and get them on boards! #daytonohio @cityofdayton

@poptartpete_ Absolutely. Spohn Ranch even gifted extra rebar and forms to the homie with a backyard build here in Dayton. Haven't yet been but either just completed or finishing up as we type.
