Clients like this make selling so much easier. We work like crazy for Chris [last name anonymous].
Prospect wanted a couple references. This is what he said.
Absolutely love to see it.
Please don't quit your job and go "all in".
Find an hour each day to grow a side project.
Replace 60% of your current income while trending in the right direction.
Then make your move. Almost always a better decision.
I know it's 'lame' to bash competitors, but these guys are the worst. And I have a stack of receipts to prove it.
TLDR
They takeover your account, 'write' 40 generic AI-written sloppies each month, and plug their sponsors into your posts as advertisements. This is a 10 y/o, 120-person company btw.
[THE FULL STORY]
In the past year, I've met with 3 of their clients (all of which are sales leaders). And every time, it was the same sh*t.
"If you're a CRO at [REDACTED FINTECH], why do they have you posting this random article talking about insurance?"
It was a pattern. All of Qnary's clients were all writing the same thing and posting the same links.
If you don't believe me, look up the folks who left testimonials on their site. Go through their posts.
Bizarre.
This isn't what hiring a ghostwriter should feel like. You want someone who understands your domain of expertise and can magically drive impressions and $$$...
If the content is driving anything meaningful, then what's the point?
And for the record, this isn't a cheap-shot attempt from me to win their customers over. So if this post turned you off, Tommy Clark, Finn Thormeier, and Nate Zroh are all stellar writers, too.
But please, don't work with this company.
Rant over

JUST IN: Palmer Luckey's genetically modified military dog startup, Warhound, comes out of stealth, aiming to create enhanced canines for the U.S. military.
Any fonts made before 1966 were done by hand. This goes for movie posters, ads, magazine covers; you name it. Nearly all these fonts have been forgotten about and were never turned into digital fonts.
This means they are unavailable.
So I'm launching a side project: Typeface Revival
I've brought back 129 fonts so far. And I'll be bringing back many, many more.

AI is reaaaaally bad at writing. And it always will be.
You could feed AI every piece of Shakespeare and it wouldn't be able to produce anything remotely good.
Hard stop.
Sure, they've gotten a lot better. Especially when Astra dropped.
However...
We have the data that proves it still sucks.
Some of the startups we work with are on a low-retainer plan where 100% of their content is produced through our agents (they are aware of this btw).
Despite 200+ hours of building frameworks, testing LLMs, harnessing, prompting, etc.
Feeding it loads of skills and .md files.
Despite the effort, the content produced through our agents generate 85% LESS impressions than hand written pieces. Even with manual changes.
This is the different between 1M impressions & 150K impressions per month on LI.
So, if someone wants to build a content agent... we don't stop them.
Try it.
Half-assed content.
Agency is doing better than ever.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been obsessed with type.
I’d go through my dad’s library just to stare at the covers. I’d trace the letters on my VHS tapes.
That’s why I’m launching Typeface Revival: bringing forgotten lettering from ads, old books, films, and posters back to life as usable fonts.
Beautiful work, drawn by artists decades ago, deserves to be seen and used again.

My wife went on LinkedIn for the first time in 8 months:
"It's just a bunch of people talking about the same things. I don't understand how you could spend so much time on it. Adam Robinson is kind of cool but I don't even like reading his stuff."
