HyperVision

We are a start up company founded in 2020 to develop innovative optical technology for VR/XR. Our XR270 technology brings full human field of view to XR.

@ASychov 🤝👏

[Artur Sychov ᯅ @ASychov]

Can 220° FOV be achieved in a small form factor? Yes!

Together with @HyperVisionXR we are now able to shrink whole electronics

☑️ 4 x 4k Micro OLED displays
☑️ 220° seamless crease-free FOV
☑️ Can easily run on 5070 GPUs or higher
☑️ Wired PCVR
❓ Quite expensive though 🤷

[Artur Sychov ᯅ @ASychov]

Proud to be supporting @HyperVisionXR

There is absolutely no XR optics which is coming even remotely close to what this team builds. Stay tuned for more goodness 😉

The Hypervision optics are truly special, and the Lynx-R2 leverages the large sweet spot, IPD adjustment and eye-relief adjustment to have most people able to wear their glasses with the headset on!

[Stan Larroque @stanlarroque]

Introducing the Lynx-R2, a complete upgrade for the best Mixed Reality experience. With the best optics giving +40% more field of view, 80% more resolution reaching 2.3K per eye and amazing ergonomics, this product is our best work.

[Artur Sychov ᯅ @ASychov]

You won't guess a real hFOV of LynxR2 especially given such a slim and ergonomic form factor.

R2 has first ever next gen pancake optics from @HyperVisionXR in the production headset. This and many more things is what makes today so exciting.

So here is my full video take on the latest 220° @HyperVisionXR optical engine 👀

ℹ️ This is also being developed for a huge US company and soon will be more info

✅ High brightness / low glare
✅ 220° hFOV (2x Micro-OLED displays / eye)
✅ Huge sweet spot
✅ True next gen 💯

[Artur Sychov ᯅ @ASychov]

I got lots of questions about this new optical engine from @HyperVisionXR.

➡️ It has 2x 4k Micro-OLEDs per eye
➡️ 220 hFOV x 95 vFOV
➡️ Incredible brightness and clarity
➡️ Smaller than AA battery (3 times smaller than previous HyperVision optical engine 🤯)

More info soon ⬇️

[Artur Sychov ᯅ @ASychov]

Pushing the limit in pancake optics is what's needed for the next big leap in the XR industry.

▶️ True human-like 220° FOV in a compact design with huge sweet spot and higher brightness & clarity is the next big thing imho ◀️

Our portfolio company @HyperVisionXR is doing exactly that. At @SomniumSpace we experiment with lots of solutions to find the right one for a true next gen headsets.

While it will take some time and such innovation is not instant, it is definitely the right way to go forward.
