@VXerStudios and I have been working on a little something - presenting our first collaborative #Mashup EP, Consorting with Robots!

@Jordan_Ainss9 @NatureBoi95501 @Woodsey10251941 @TezzaBelle88@samsmith@LewisCapaldi That doesn't address why you're mad about it. "Thrown in your face" and "sick of it" is only your perspective *because* you're mad.
@Woodsey10251941 @NatureBoi95501 @Jordan_Ainss9 @TezzaBelle88@samsmith@LewisCapaldi I disagree with people all the time but I don't then intentionally disrespect them. It's just weird to me that people think that's ok to do, regardless of what they themselves believe.
@Jordan_Ainss9 @TezzaBelle88 @NatureBoi95501 @samsmith@LewisCapaldi If it "doesn't mean anything", would it kill you to just use the pronouns they prefer?
@draevans Freeze response triggered, but in my mouth. Words are either on the tip of my tongue, desperate yet unable to come out, or unable to form in my brain in the first place; depends on the trigger. There is no choice or control involved. Accompanied by debilitating anxiety and shame.
@Theholisticpsyc Nah I get that for free on TikTok from the thousands of people showing me I've never had a unique "weird" experience in my life๐คฃ From a therapist, I personally expect actionable practices I can work on between sessions, to make progress towards fixing what I'm struggling with.
@redwyrmofficial My party sinks an absurd amount of coin into top tier food and drink in every establishment we visit because @VXerStudios describes everything so vividly that we can all practically taste it. It's kinda like the D&D equivalent of going grocery shopping when you're really hungry.
@WhatTheADHD@StoneCasspir It bugs the hell out of me every time I hear it, but even more so because I didn't know the correct term so I had just defaulted to using it myself in the moment during conversations, then obviously always forgot to look it up later so THANK YOU for this ๐คฃ
@Thought_Po@skodapickup@a_broomstick It sadly wasn't enough of a deterrent though. What if we flip the logic? Perhaps having everyone in the same shared spaces would actually prove to be a greater deterrent. It'd increase the likelihood of predators being detected, and by someone more capable of stopping them.
@BecauseIMatter Holy fuck. I feel like I need more context to try and understand their perspective but something that inherently causes people serious mental health issues/trauma can't sensibly be considered a privilege, even if someone else's dxed/unmasked experience was objectively "worse" ๐
@player__sam @ShanonBeckPA Absolutely! Though that too comes with its own barriers; not all drs will consider what you say, not everyone has the knowledge to advocate for the correct dx when the dr gets it wrong, or even if they do they may not have the mental energy for it, etc. Whole system is fraught.
@ShanonBeckPA People self-diagnose when they understand their own issues, but face barriers to getting an official diagnosis. And sure, not everyone gets their self-diagnosis correct, but do you honestly believe that every practitioner providing an official diagnosis gets it right every time?
