@G_ROGUEORBIT_JP Could we please get this on Nintendo Switch 2? It seems odd to have all of the Gundam games that we did get on Switch and then this one skips Switch 2, and this looks incredible...
@G_ROGUEORBIT_JP I hope there is a future announcement for this releasing on Switch 2. During a Nintendo Direct would be about what I would expect based on past reveals.
Also, this game reminds me a bit of Daemon X Machina, so I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.
“We humans possibly could exist without fighting. However, many of us choose to fight. For what reason? To protect something? What? Ourselves? The future? If we must kill to protect our future and ourselves, what sort of future is it?”

@GundamInfoNA I enjoyed this game on Switch! A few things about it: 1. The levels could have been longer and had more going on, but I understand it was a Vita game. 2. No playable Skygrasper is disappointing, especially since there are other MA units. 3. I'd like to see Freedom content added.

Pay *very* close attention to the movements/ statements of the wealthy & powerful. Things are in motion.
Humans must learn to apply their intelligence correctly and evolve beyond their current state. People must change, otherwise even if humanity expands into space it will only create new conflicts."

"What I hate are people who misuse their intelligence, the ones who get caught up in their own personal beliefs and prejudices and lose sight of the truth. It leads to misunderstandings, followed by discord and then by conflict. All I want is understanding between people.[…]
@GeeksGamersCom I showed my five year old son the trailer, and he doesn't even want to see this. His biggest reasons are that Steve doesn't look like Steve and it shouldn't be real people.
Sigh I guess I can explain it, but if you haven't caught on already I'm not exactly confident that you'll understand the problem (and I mean that with no offense).
The existence of pronouns is a red flag indicating that a game was made by ideologues/political activists. The emphasis on, and listing of pronouns (in things like a person's profile) is an ideological fad adopted by bored middle-class westerners who are void of a real problem in life. The same is true of custom-assigned pronouns in a fictional world: where we can assume that people are more concerned with not dying of plague, blight, starvation, or murder at the hands of demons than what their pronouns are, or gender-non-conformity.
These things are often the product of "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity" departments either within the company, or contracted by the company. ← This is wholly political/ideological. Diversity should be natural and the product of one's creative vision, and "inclusivity" is just another way of saying "let's include characters who resemble the lady that works the cash register at my local K-mart in this fictional fantasy world."
Anyone who understands the value of fantasy and escapism understand why this is a problem: we play/enjoy video games because they're not real life: if we wanted to experience more of the real world, we could easily do that by going outside. And we enjoy fantasy for similar reasons. In fact by definition, fantasy is not real life.
So that brings us to the point: why are real-world social-political fads being injected into a fantasy video game... where more than half the point is escapism/that it's not real-life? And the answer is simple: the game is being created by people who do not understand the genre or the point/purpose of the setting. These things are often the product of those "equity and inclusivity" initiatives I mentioned earlier: initiatives that are inherently political.
As for how/why this is a problem..? Well: on its own, it's not much of a problem. But it is a red flag. It shows us various things: (1) Money, time, and resources are being wasted on these initiatives when they'd be better spent literally anywhere else. (2) The people creating the game either don't understand, or don't value the integrity of fiction/fantasy. (3) The people behind the project have weird, inexplicable priorities. They're likely political activists who, through their work, have decided to insert their real-world ideals and politics into their fantasy world in a rather on-the-nose, uncreative way. (4) It shows a lack of respect for the consumers, many of which are understandably tired of their braindead political activism.
All of these things almost always (not 100% of the time, but close to it) translate to a worse product for consumers. These things hurt the quality of games for the vast majority of us, they don't enhance it or make it better. As I mentioned in the OP: this is one of many red flags. If this was isolated, I wouldn't have even shared it.
@GundamInfoNA On the topic of funnels, I find them very underwhelming. Their movement is fine, but the firing rate is way too low, and the visual effects are not very impressive. Super Dragoons have an EX cost of 4, and they are basically glorified pea shooters. I was excited to use them, too.
Something to think about, regardless of your politics: In the US, you're not allowed to fly a plane once you hit 65, but you're allowed to fly a whole country.
Term limits, age limits, and for the love of God: limits on insider trading. Crooks, all of them.
