At the end of every basement interview, I break down the conversation. I address big claims and tell you what I could prove and what I couldn't.
I push back gently during the conversation but rarely. It's a storytelling show. I want to hear the story. Not interested in debating. Analysis at the end.
Why has @OMGTheWhyFiles done such a huge 180 lately? What happened to "There's always a book" and "DOPSR approved whistleblowers"? Hardly any, if any pushback at all.
Can Psychedelics Open a Door to Another Realm?
“I did that once. I'm never going back. That was hell. I saw hell. ... I thought I was dying and going to hell. ... All right, this is it. You took too much, you know, I'm going from. Are my affairs in order? You know. Is there enough money in the bank? There wasn't. You know. Is my wife going to be okay? She wouldn't be. And then I was back.”
“Tall, thin, covered in, like, black robes. They were kind of scary looking. And they said, you shouldn't be in here is what they told me. They said you shouldn't be in here. And experience was over pretty quickly after that. And I kind of got the message. I didn't mess with it for a while after that.”

Sincere thank you to everyone who voted. Because of this great community, TWF received more votes than all other nominees combined - in both categories. You are very appreciated. 🙏
Was an Ancient Civilization Discovered Beneath the Grand Canyon?
“Kincaid is looking for silver deposits in the Grand Canyon. And he sees, like, this cave opening way up in the cliff. ... So he follows the steps and finds a way into this cave. ... He finds these porticos that have mummies on shelves, after shelves, just mummies. ... And he finds this giant cavern that is an old city that he says maybe people could have lived here.”
“And then it kind of goes away. Smithsonian says, ‘We never heard of it. We never received anything.’ ... And the story disappears and so does Kincaid... People have gone up right above that hole to see what's up there. And once they go up there, as soon as you land above that cave entrance, suddenly black helicopters start flying around.”

From The @OMGTheWhyFiles Found On Facebook Dated November 19, 2023 - I found this to be interesting. You?
We pass through the Taurid Meteor Cluster in November every year...
One year will be our last time!
I've covered these in other episodes - but separately. A full ep on Ancient Indian mythology (and technology) is a great idea. Spaceships, magical gods, nuclear bombs. They have it all.
@OMGTheWhyFiles Love your content! Any chance of an episode on ancient Indian mythology? Vimanas, lost city of Dwarka, Mahabharata tech… so much unexplained stuff that fits your style perfectly 🙌
For nearly two decades, my family and I have watched lights that seemed to be trying to tell us something.
Today, the research begins.
I'm proud to introduce the Bledsoe Institute for Research.

I wrote an episode about this for @OMGTheWhyFiles a few years ago because I knew we were missing something when it came to Neanderthals.
Special shoutout to @hemingquay for sending me the info that inspired this work!

Replying publicly intentionally. Aidan, you sound great. Intelligent, informed and kind. But my show is not about debates or "setting the record straight". I provide some counter-arguments at the end, but what you believe is up to you. I've been clear that I don't believe in Bigfoot. But the stories are fun. That's the point.
The Basement is a storytelling show - not a news show. I don't believe a lot of the stories, but I enjoy them. My audience is intelligent enough to do their own research.
I appreciate you reaching out with kindness. Thank you for that.
Hey AJ, that was me. I am a Why Files fan. I’ve watched the channel for years. That’s part of the reason I took a softer approach to critiquing your statements than I did David (whom I used to be a fan of).
I also reached out through your website suggesting you might have me or Nick from @MissingEnigma on to provide an alternate perspective on the Missing 411 aspects of Dave’s work.
I honestly just want to set the record straight. Paulides has created a fiction surrounding these cases and insults the memory of the people whose names he profits off of.
