SMFR and @WestMetroFire are responding to a multi-family structure fire on Old Ski Run Circle in unincorporated Douglas County. Updates will follow as more information is confirmed.
Update: The SMFR Dive Team is on scene at the swim beach searching for an individual who is reported to be missing in the water. Rescuers are using sonar equipment to assist with the search. Media staging is under the pavilion at the swim beach.
Update: Fire is under control. 3 occupants safely evacuated the residence, one resident is being evaluated by Fire Medics on scene. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
SMFR and @GreenwoodGov Police are responding to a reported single family residential structure fire at 9547 E. Chenango Ave.

Update: The second incident was for a jet skier who fell off and was in the water. The individual has been accounted for and is being brought to shore. South Metro crews are remaining on scene to assist rangers. All incoming units have been picked up.
Update: Park Rangers are in contact with a paddleboarder who was in distress. The person is out of the water and does not require any medical assistance.

Final Update: The scene has been turned over to Chatfield Park Rangers, and all SMFR units will be returning to service. South Metro encourages everyone to wear a US Coast Guard-approved PFD while participating in open water recreation.
Update: Park Rangers arrived on scene of a capsized sailboat and assisted the occupants onto a CPW boat. South Metro crews are remaining on scene to evaluate for any medical needs. All units not on scene have returned to service.
Update: Firefighters are continuing to work on overhaul. A brush engine responded to extinguish a small fire in the grass behind the home. The cause is under investigation by the SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office.
Update: Crews are on scene of a deck fire that extended into all three levels of the home. Firefighters have water on the fire, and the fire is under control. One individual was evaluated on scene by Fire Medics but was not transported.
