I'm in how wood right now and got to go to wfj then mkc to catch that 18 15.... I can get there earlier to catch the 17 15 if that's advisable

I am due to travel from wfj to lpool in a couple of hours. Its a std off peak tkt. Is there an advised route to take? Given the bbc news flash, which is scary because I've had major disruption before but not a newsflash. Should I be planning to stay down here?

@WestMidRailway my next at least 2 trains to Liverpool are cancelled from bhm. Can I get on Shrewsbury train through to chester and get to Liverpool from there?

@AvantiWestCoast I can work my options out by just getting myself north thru birmingham. I just need to know that ticket restrictions are lifted because of the horrendous day you are no doubt experiencing. I think Birmingham and Manchester are reasonable options otherwise I may not get home again

@AvantiWestCoast my 16 15 train from mkc to liv is cancelled. Can I use any reasonable route to get home? Like mkc to Birmingham or to Manchester then liverpool?

@LNRailway I am on the 7 13 crewe to mkc due to arrive 8 49. It is showing as delayed to 08 59 and arriving platform 5. I need to get the 0900 service from mkc to apsley . Is it possible to delay by a minute or so? Thanks
