Since last #LaborDay, our union brothers and sisters have fought hard to protect and expand the #UnionDifference.
Today, we take time to rest, reflect, and recommit ourselves to this work to better the lives of ALL working Nevadans and their families.
#Solidarity#1u ✊
It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of @AFLCIO President @RichardTrumka. He was a labor icon and fought for all workers. He fought side-by-side with us to defeat "right-to-work" in 2018. He was a strong friend of the @Teamsters. Rest in Power Brother.
The Culinary Union is proud to have called AFL-CIO President @RichardTrumka a dear friend who was a strong and fearless leader in the labor movement to build a more just America for millions workers and their families.
The labor movement, the AFL-CIO and the nation lost a legend today - and I lost a dear friend. Rich Trumka devoted his life to working people, from his early days as president of the UMWA to his unparalleled leadership as the voice of America’s labor movement.
The passing of AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka is absolutely heartbreaking.
Today we lost a giant amongst giants, a stalwart champion of the labor movement, and a dear friend.
For two decades, Local 28 stagehands have worked Portland #Trailblazers games. After weathering the pandemic many expected to return. However, #RipCity Management wants to eliminate their jobs and replace them with a non-union workforce. These IATSE kin aren't backing down!
Did you know you can still be eligible for unemployment benefits even if you’ve returned to work? Lot’s of people aren’t back to full time yet and need to report wages on their weekly claim.

Right to Return = peace of mind❗
Mario: A #RightToReturn law (Senate Bill 386) would prevent employers from using a global pandemic to get rid of older workers in shameful attempt to force them into early retirement.
#NVLEG, pass #SB386 NOW!
