@Hon_Danjo This is so on point! Someone I’ve done a lot for posted something here for audience and I felt like “lenu e!”. I even did things she didn’t know was a big deal until later.
Since then, I’ve been using my money for Hennessy.
@Hon_Danjo@visitmas I disagree. There wasn’t a “Bodija” when we eat fish at Oritoke Eleja and club with Kwam 1 at Majerita. It was only Cottons, TinTin and Davies in Bodija and the 3 altogether can’t pull the crowd at Majerita Hotel.
@tobbsticks1@RIAOFIBADAN When ring road was ring road, there were no 411 and Abiodun Agbede never start Platinum. It was only Cottons in Bodija then Options 247 came later. We had Tin Tin at Preboyes though.
@buodataye@RIAOFIBADAN Renovated Switch 😁
When ring road was ring road, Switch was Bubbles. Even Saheed will tell you that the crowd for Bubbles plenty pass what you now have at the “renovated Switch”
Your statement here shows that you are not aware of the things that went down with 2019 elections in Oyo.
Let me hint you; who’s Sen. Kola Balogun? Who did the Olubadan-in-Council support? What is Ibadan’s grudge with the late Ajimobi.
You guys think you can start following politics in 2015 or 2019 and argue about it effectively. Lol.
@solomonelrey@BabatundeK59895@idofoi It has been defined from the beginning of the thread you responding too.
You didn’t just see it because you think you have a point to make.
@DataOluwat69782@BabatundeK59895@idofoi You are not getting the point.
1. Do you know what it takes to win a primary election?
2. Do you know if the primary would be consensus or direct?
3. Have you taken into consideration the power brokers and their interest?
I’ll advise you to study the terrain.
Achievements around?
Anyway, I was responding to the fact that a sitting senator of the federal republic is “politically irrelevant”. That’s something that shouldn’t be said again. Either you like him or not, a sitting Senator is not politically irrelevant, ask politicians around you. A sitting Senator can decide who becomes your LG chairman, a REP member and to a large extent, who wins the guber and presidential election in his district. That person can’t be irrelevant politically. Then SBA is Oyo South, most populous district in Oyo State.
It’s a pity that you people don’t understand politics. How many registered voters are in his family compound? Compare that to the number of registered voters in his ward alone. Tell me which is irrelevant.
2. Do you think people only vote candidates in a general election? Have you ever voted before? It’s the logo parties you’ll see only the ballot.
3. “No one can pick him” shows you don’t really know how it works. Are you a member of APC or a delegate? How many votes do you have?
1. Please go to people that understands Ibadan politics and ask about BSA.
2. Ask who his political godfather is.
3. Also do a research about him so you will know his antecedents in Ibadan politics and he didn’t just win an election in 1996!
4. Also ask about the roles they played to make late Ajimobi victorious in 2011.
Guy, just go and learn first.
