They keep saying "assault weapon" bans are pointless without a federal AWB, yet they keep passing them anyway.
Ultimately, if SCOTUS does not do its job then we will eventually see every blue state have an AWB and magazine capacity law, with the possible exception of Maine and New Hampshire. Maybe a couple purple states too, if Dems win temporary control.
This is from a declaration submitted by THE STATE, not the plaintiffs challenging the law.
Between January and June of 2023, 58,057 people were rejected due to records mismatches. Only 141 were rejected due to actually being prohibited people.
Remember, 2023 is after the law had been in effect for four years. So this is not some "growing pains" issue because the system is new.
And when you are rejected due to records mismatches, you are not told why. You don't receive a letter or email from the CADOJ explaining what to do. Some may even get scared and think they were marked as prohibited for some reason, and stop trying to buy ammo.
That is exactly what has resulted. Of the people wrongfully denied in January of 2023, only 62.9% had successfully bought ammunition by July of 2023.
Even if some hypothetical ammunition background check system were constitutional, this one obviously is not.
Hey, @RubinReport since you are publicly saying that I’m “not very bright” and “don’t know what I’m talking about”, why don’t we sit down for a conversation and see who knows what they are talking about?
Now, make up an excuse for why you will absolutely never do this.
Your reminder that Hamas still has hostages. This could have ended long ago if they returned the hostages and surrendered.
Israel saw 1200 of its citizens murdered in cold blood and then others taken hostage. I don't know what you guys expected them to do in response, apologize to Hamas?
They should not let up until every hostage is returned and Hamas unconditionally surrenders.
Breaking: The Third Circuit Court of Appeals has denied Pennsylvania’s request for rehearing in Lara v. Paris, SAF’s challenge to a portion of the Commonwealth’s statutory regime which discriminates against the carry rights of young adults. With the denial of this petition, SAF’s win remains standing strong, and PA now has only the Supreme Court to beg to reinstate their unconstitutional law.
2A4E Diversity Shoot & @cnjfo work together fighting for the civil rights of all Americans. Yesterday they hosted a fundraising event at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay PA.
I had fun meeting people, seeing friends & learning about the current lawsuit against the state.
You know one of the best parts of being a 2nd Amendment activist in New Jersey?
Smart people like Jay Factor are my friends.
Having individuals that are fonts of knowledge about all aspects of the 2nd Amendment in the fight feels good.
