@OakCudgel@The_Kyle_Mann A great simple resource is the new Starter Set: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle which includes tips for people who have never played a roleplaying game before. This guy can help as well:

@davidhazony@ReliabilityComp @gunsnrosesgirl3 Probably, but that depends on how the turbulent flow vortices coming off of the vehicle interacted with him. More important, however, is that he had friction from the diving board until he jumped.
@ddaviddx2 Practically speaking, most players play a #ttrpg page-up on the table but if you can't remember if your companion still has the Eye of Vecna in their bag of holding and they don't want to tell you, then Perception check. (Or Stealth if you wait until night to search the bag.)
@webdevjeffus@DwDStudios Agreed, and as someone who has been screwed by the dice in King of Tokyo, even a rare outlier can wreck a game! π
You can also manipulate the outcome of a pool by creating custom distribution (non-standard faces) or different die size (6xd20 is a different pool than 6xd6)
@DwDStudios Recents:
Loved Andor.
The Night Agent held my attention.
Cowboy Bebop (live action) wasn't perfect but I was sad it ended.
Hanna was pretty good.
I'm late to the Jack Ryan party but the first few eps are my jam.
Did you need something that wasn't moody action/suspense? π
I knew I'd get too old to recognize new celebrities but I did not expect to get too old to recognize what celebrities are famous for. every day I go "is that a new singer" and then a person born in 2007 goes "ew no they're a peeble streamer on doop" as I inch closer to the grave
@DwDStudios IMHO, all hard line positions on AI are foolish because the issue is highly complex. I suspect most commenters have no idea how AI art generation is constructed/trained. Also, fair use precedent is ignored. Much anti-AI-art sentiment seems to be prejudiced against AI in general.
