You're probably killing your own trading and you don't even realize it.
I was thinking about this last night.
One of the biggest reasons traders fail to reproduce their backtesting results isn't because the strategy stopped working.
Now you've removed it.
Without realizing it, you've changed the model.
You're no longer trading what you tested.
You're trading your emotions.
And that's a completely different strategy.
If your goal in trading isn't to win, and win consistently in private, then you're probably chasing the wrong thing.
Too many traders get distracted by the noise:
- Validation
- Followers
- Engagement
- Competitions
- Being seen as "that guy"
None of those pay your bills.
The market doesn't care about your audience. It rewards discipline, patience, risk management, and execution.
Keep the main thing the main thing.
Focus on your process.
Protect your capital.
Stack your wins quietly.
Because at the end of the day, the goal isn't to look successful.
The goal is to be successful.
Stay focused. Win.
A guy I know finally became profitable after 3 years.
Two weeks later he doubled his risk.
Three weeks later he blew the account.
When I asked him why he increased his risk, he said:
"I finally know what I'm doing."
That response stayed with me.
@MrMirxx Even 200 thoughtful replies everyday for one year won't get you 19k followers, let alone doing it for just two months
