As a software developer and startup founder - working from home has 100% transformed my mental health for the better.
I wake up feeling refreshed without the stress of a morning commute. My flexible schedule allows me to take breaks throughout the day, often to walk my dog - these moments in nature clear my mind and spark creativity. I've crafted a home office that truly feels like my own, filled with things that inspire me. The comfy environment helps me focus deeply on complex problems.
But the best part? Freedom of time. Spending more time with my fiancée and having Enzo (my furry friend) by my side all day. His wagging tail and occasional playful interruptions bring joy to even the most challenging days. While startup life and remote work isn't without its challenges, I've found it's significantly improved my productivity and most importantly my overall well-being.
I'm curious - how has working from home impacted your mental health? Perhaps you've uncovered some insights about your productivity, work-life balance, or mood that you hadn't considered before?

Introducing Oscura—an unapologetically dark and minimal theme based on Fey. 🌘
We’ve been using it internally for a while, now it’s available for everyone ↓
100% this. I'm currently cutting out apps and subscriptions that more or less just provide unnecessary noise.
I replaced Notion, Obsidian, Readwise and many more with these:
- @BearNotesApp for quick notes
- @craftdocsapp for structured stuff
- @reederapp for read-later, bookmarks, feeds
Native apps hit differently.
Just got home after a short holiday on Mallorca.
Worked less then 4 hours that week and this is the stats:
Gaming ecom -> 10k€+ revenue
@getviralydotcom -> generated over 3,500,000 views for our different clients through short form content.
Decent stats for a holiday week, thanks to our great team and systems we create to automate everything.

so…. i’m leaving sweden
today, everything related to my apartment in Gothenburg was approved and 3 weeks from now, I will no longer have a home in Sweden for the coming 12 months
to be completely real with ya’ll, i haven’t been happy with who i am for idk how long in so many ways
i’m super happy with my career and the freedom it brings me, but if I look past that, I’m a very insecure, anxious and slightly depressed dude
a wise person recently told me ”there is something you want and need in your fears”, and it has really made me think about my fears, and how they’ve held me back for the longest time, turning me into this person i don’t want to be
so, with that said, i’m leaving sweden, and honestly i don’t know if i’ll ever come back
but at least for the coming 12 months, i’ll be travelling around the world, working on my businesses and most importantly, on myself
i’ll be starting off in Bali as it’s kinda my second home, and after that I’ll be spending dec+jan in Australia, but after that, i have no idea where i’ll end up
i’ll be a lot more active on X, and perhaps even start with other forms of content, recently got a vlog camera which i’ve been using for a few weeks now, idk if i’ll ever upload anything, but the point is to document this journey
