Sorry folks! Hate to end the show early but we have to call it. Will ate something he shouldn’t have, lost a lot of fluids 🤢, and has a stomach condition that won’t correct until late this evening. Nothing critical but no longer sea worthy for today. Here’s to next time MDT

@willfortin and I did some running a month ago. 358 miles of it from upstate New York to NYC. We finally sat down to tell the tale...
Finished the Long Path today, crossing the George Washington Bridge and ending just a few blocks away at the 175th st subway station. It felt great, especially to be met by Ken Posner, the existing record holder. Thanks for following along! Report to come soon.
“Two best words to describe The Long Path:: ‘relentlessly gnarly’. This is supposed to be the easy part. We had to nap once and provision for another just to make it to the bridge. So sleepy..” ~Will
The Long Path takes everything that you think you have and asks for more. During last night’s push, we got two 1/2 hr dirt naps. Hoping that a quick nap will get us the rest of the way to the GW Bridge
Just got to Big Hill shelter to have some lunch and dry feet. Most of the way through Harriman State Park, 45 miles to go. If you look closely, you can see the NYC skyline 🌃
Last night we stayed at a hotel in Central Valley (we turned the SPOT off at the restaurant we ate at last night and back on when leaving town). 70+ mile day on Wednesday and 30+ road miles yesterday really beat us up. Feeling refreshed for the final push ☀️
