Do you know that from Lagos to Calabar Highway contract is costing Nigeria - N15trn ($11Bn) for 700KM road , while Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town South Africa Highway which is 1,156KM cost only $1.6Bn (African longest highway).

Nigeria leaders are horrible individuals. Money that will be used to build a nation is what they are squandering on a 700km road .

Radio Biafra;

Colonel Obasanjo asked some of the Radio Biafra workers to accompany him to Lagos where they would be reabsorbed by Radio Nigeria.

Radio Biafra had many prominent names. People like Chinua Achebe, Uche Chukwumerije and Cyprian Ekwensi made contributions. At the time the war ended in January 1970, it was headed by Sam Nwaneri.

Okokon Ndem’s voice was sharper than an AK -47 bullet. The way he made announcements, many Biafrans believed their troops were just miles short of capturing Gen. Yakubu Gowon alive.

It was believed that Radio Biafra operated from Enugu which had fallen into Federal hands as early as 1967.

Many wondered how Gen. Emeka Ojukwu held on to that miracle.
However, the man who made Radio Biafra stay on, was Heron Okeahialam, an Electrical/Electronics engineer, trained in the United Kingdom.

While he moved the station from one secret location to another, bullets and fighter bombers were unable to detect it.

Prof. Okeahialam is his elder brother.
Prof. Okeahialam said: “Heron converted Radio Biafra from medium to short wave, for wider coverage.”

It was indeed a mobile station. It moved from Enugu to Umuahia and by the end of the war was operating from Obodoukwu Urualla in today’s Ideato area of Imo State.

“At one time,” Prof. Okeahialam added, “the transmitter was in Otulu during the war and a long palm tree was used to mount the aerial.”

Col. Olu Obasanjo who received the instrument of surrender as General Officer Commanding, Third Marine Commando Division of the Nigeria Army could not but marvel at what was Radio Biafra.

Locating it was like a wild goose chase. Accompanied by battle tested troops, Obasanjo waltzed through rough terrain in his official Mercedes Benz car, NA 116, until mission was accomplished.

He said:”The station was well camouflaged from both ground and air by trees and palm fronds which were changed regularly. It was a perfect job.”

Trust Obasanjo, he came battle ready and was after Okokon Ndem. The broadcaster outsmarted him by disappearing into the undergrowth. An enraged OBJ threatened to flog Ikoneto demons out of the man.

When Okokon Ndem eventually surfaced, the soldiers who would have been ordered to cane him were carried away. They hailed and took photographs with the non-Igbo Biafran.

Accompanying Obasanjo was another non-Igbo, Gen. Philip Asuquo Effiong, President of Biafra in the absence of Gen. Emeka Ojukwu who was flown out in his Grey Ghost by Captain Frank Osakwe.

Obasanjo asked some of the Radio Biafra workers to accompany him to Lagos where they would be reabsorbed by Radio Nigeria. Okeahialam declined.

In 1976, he could not say no to Imo State Governor, Lt. Commander Ndubuisi Kanu.

Kanu saddled Okeahialam with the responsibility of setting up the Imo Broadcasting Service [IBS].

Okeahialam attended St. Joseph’s College, Sasse, Cameroon before proceeding to Professional Technial College, Southampton. He bagged a higher degree from the University of Cyracuse.

The engineer also lived up to his initials of H.O.D. when appointed H.O.D. Electrical/Electronics Engineering department, IMT Enugu.
Biafran scientists did great things.

They made beer from cassava. Engine oil came out of coconut. They manufactured ‘Ogbunigwe’ rockets and built Red devil armoured cars. There were refineries. Airports sprang up in Uli, Uga and Obilagu.

Among the scientists were Gordian Ezekwem, Col. Ejike Ebenezer Aghanya, Willy Achukwu,Frank Ndili, Felix Oragwu, Ezekiel Izuogu, Sam Orji, Frank Mbanefo, Benjamin Nwosu and Roy Umenyi. They belonged to the Research And Production Unit [RAP].

Read And Understand Why A Freedom Fighter Must Be Wise And Intelligent

When Ayaba Cho Lucas of Ambazonia started his romance with Ekpa, I wrote and advised him but he remained adamant. He started advising IPOB to go into violence. I wrote that Simon Ekpa was never in for freedom. That he is a recruit of the government. But Ayo Cho allowed Ekpa to fool him and drive him into massacring his own people.

There is a reason IPOB members are walking freely in Europe and America. There is a reason one can claim asylum by being an IPOB member. There is a reason Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stayed in Britain for years without being arrested. There is a reason Mazi Nnamdi Kanu appeared in Israel without a passport after Nigeria tried to kị̀ll him. The reason was simple. He followed the right way. He did not descend on his people. Rather he protected them both against hunger and Fulani herdsmen terr0rists.

The method of IPOB made it impossible for the Nigerian government to brand them as a terrorist group. Every lie of the government against IPOB was never bought by international communities.

To destroy the image of the IPOB, Simon Ekpa was recruited by the Nigerian government to give the IPOB a violent outlook. Some people were fọ́ọ́led into thinking that the young man wanted Biafra's freedom. Some erroneously thought he was for Biafra at first, but along the line, he betrayed. That is not true. Simon Ekpa was never for Biafra from the first day
He was recruited to have the quest for Biafra destroyed. Simon Ekpa doesn't care about IPOB, Biafra or Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. His duty was to have all of them destroyed. He said he would be the end of IPOB because some of you gullible people will think Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is exempted. How can you destroy IPOB created by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu without destroying Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? Is it possible?

Ekpa succeeded in destroying Ayaba Cho. Today, his own arrest has been reported. The truth is that it is insanity that Simon Ekpa was in Finland for three years taking responsibility for the killing of hundreds of Igbo people, and the Finland government said nothing. Today they have come to say he is being arrested for the crimes he committed in 2021. How come you knew a man committed a crime in 2021, but you left him to kị̀ll more people for almost 3 years before arresting him? It is on this note that I will say I don't trust the Finland government. But whatever game they are playing with him, let them know we are not keeping our guard down.

Before another person takes over from him, you must know that whatever any government promised you for you to terrorisẹ́ your people, you must know that the government cannot be disgraced because of you. They can deal away with you at any time. They would rather dumb you or put you out than allow the country to be ridiculed because of you.

I once said that Simon Ekpa would end up handcuffed. At this stage, it doesn't matter what game the duo of Britain and Nigeria chose to play; the Finland-based guy has committed many crimes and terrorism against his people, and someone must answer for these crimes.

Let this be a lesson to others.

Don't forget, he is not an IPOB member and neither is he an IPOB leader.
