When attending workouts, you have a choice to make. Are you there just to work out, or are you there to get better? INTENT is attacking reps & choosing to improve when no one is forcing you to. The difference between average & exceptional often is the INTENT behind the work.

Here is this week’s lifting calendar. A reminder, if your team is on the schedule, it’s an expectation & requirement you’re there!
If your program is not listed, any times in 🟡yellow 🟡are OPEN lifts, meaning there should be enough space for you to come get a lift!
Remember, it’s about more than just a workout.
Every time you skip a lift with your team:
- You allow others to get ahead of you
- You don’t get that workout back
- You lose teammate/coach trust
- You say your desires come before the team’s
Don’t skip workouts. Period.
If you hear “Sport Specific Training” it’s 100% a sign to run the other way.
Athletes should not view their S&C as a Player, but as an ATHLETE.
Bigger, Faster, Stronger Athletes thrive in all arenas. S&C should improve Global Force capabilities, NOT practice skills.

Chapman is 38 years old and is throwing the ball better than ever. I get to the clubhouse around 5:30 AM every day during spring training… this dude is already drenched in sweat and 2/3 of the way through his workout before most people even walk in.
