@NWSSeattle ...There's also an exception to this line east of Renton, too. Are these variations in the line caused by topography, wind patterns, just what the models are saying??? Thanks for helping my curiosity.
@NWSSeattle I'm curious - there's a pretty well defined north/south line through King/Snohomish county defining frost to the east. However, the Sammamish Plateau is east of that line but carved out to not have frost and Bothell is included in the frost area but sits west of the line...
@briankeating ... be electrons. That's about 15 g of mass as electrons, which is about 15 paperclips. Is my thinking wrong? (BTW, I hold a BS and MS from UCSD)
@briankeating My back of the envelope math doesn't add up. I weigh about 60kg. A paperclip is about 1g. Electrons are about 1/2000 the mass of a nucleon. Most of the atoms in my body have about 2 nucleons/electron (a proton and a neutron). Therefore, about 1/4000 of my mass should (1/2)
