Just received confirmation that @ColumbusPolice Chief Bryant has turned off the nationwide search function for CPD officers using @Flock.

Let’s be perfectly clear about what this means. A highly effective law enforcement tool, used to find violent criminals and build cases against rapists, child molesters, murderers, shooters etc. has been rendered almost useless because @cbuscitycouncil wants to protect illegal aliens.

Bryant made it easier for criminals to evade capture and harder for detectives to build the cases that keep citizens safe. It’s a feature that’s built into the fees they pay Flock meaning that tax money is being wasted.

It’s cowardly. She did it to keep her job.

It’s also hilarious because there’s nothing stopping a CPD officer from just having his or her buddy at a non-crazy agency to run the search for them if needed.
