It was a busy week preparing for distance learning. Canvas, Nearpod, Zoom, YouTube, etc; so much to learn with the new digital platform and procedures, but we are ready for Monday and there is no one I’d rather be coteaching with than #1 GameChanger, Mrs. Patten @Eng2Patten !
The @irvinglibrary is working on a new community project for International Peace Day, and we're loving their first origami art installation at the South Irving Library!
It’s good to have high expectations for students. It’s great to raise the bar.
But here’s the thing: those high expectations are actually counterproductive if we do not simultaneously support, encourage, and empower our students to rise to the challenge.
Thank you @dwgroup for all of the training in website building. Creating in canvas is just like website building! @IrvingHigh sticky notes are a great tool to plan out your page and thinking about the layout of your pages. Feel free to reach out to @thecoachbeach and I!
My big Zoom learning today was that you can use Powerpoint Slides as your background and move from slide to slide! This will come in real handy for synchronous teaching or workshops!
It's in the advanced section of "Share Screen"
