@Chudacabra @Lunay678 The critical point you're missing out on is that Nergi is a Elder. Elder's, by Capcom's intentional design, are supposed to be outlandish, juxtaposed to regular monsters. Magna isn't a elder dragon, so he's held to a different standard.

@Lunay678 @MHFZZEnjoyer @MHTWITT_CONFESS Then there's the fact that he's covered in a fuck-ton of heavy spikes while being able to fly around, his really bright colorful tone doesn't match well with him being a predator (typically prey/herbivores are quite colorful due not needed to find prey)

@Chudacabra All Wilds has to do is just push it's mechanics. Force each inclemency to apply its corresponding blight/de-buff if the hunter doesn't prepare by having the needed resistances. Also, nerf focus strikes into the ground.

@Lunay678 Not really, the oil well & Ice shards both have their corresponding de-buffs. Pretty consistent if we go off World's standards, but I would like a lot more; for example, the thunder inclemency should automatically apply thunder blight if you don't have 20 thunder res.

@Ada2987_art SGF is definitely the smarter choice to win back community sentiment after Wilds rocky launch. Even though the TU’s did alleviate a lot of people critical concerns, the memory of the launch state still plauges Wilds.

@Lunay678 The one elder caused inclemency we do have (Gogmazios heat breath in phase 2) required a cool drink/bug.

@Xotl_art @MHFZZEnjoyer The one elder we do have causes a inclemency with a prolonged use of their breath attack, so it’s safe to say that any additional elders will have their own inclemency tied to them.
