Monkeypox virus is isolated by @icmr_niv for the first time in India and ICMR has invited an EoI, proposing to handover the virus strain to interested Indian vaccine and IVD industry partners for development of indigenous vaccine & diagnostic kits for #Monkeypox. @MoHFW_INDIA

सबको पता है कि गोरखपुर सहित इस बड़े क्षेत्र में 5 साल पहले तक दिमागी बुखार की क्या स्थिति थी। लोगों को इलाज के लिए बनारस या लखनऊ जाना पड़ता था। मेडिकल कॉलेज में जो रिसर्च सेंटर चलता था, उसकी अपनी बिल्डिंग तक नहीं थी।

आज यहां एम्स के साथ रिसर्च सेंटर की बिल्डिंग भी तैयार है।
