#MammalMonday: Bobcats are distinct-looking wild cats, with their spotted fur and short (“bobbed”) tail. They’re about twice the size of a house cat, solitary, & most active at dusk and dawn. In Illinois, they're found in wooded areas, particularly in southern parts of the state.

HB1827 was recently introduced and would amend the Wildlife Code to repeal provisions allowing the taking of bobcats by hunting or trapping in this State.

@biologistimo My dad suffered from a TBI. He was in recovery for over a year. I never understood the severity of his injury until I read the MD summaries after he died (from another issue, pulmonary fibrosis).
