It is with a heavy heart that @IMPD_Chief announces the untimely death of @IMPDEast Officer Breann Leath.
Officer Leath was a loving mother. A veteran. Daughter of a public servant family. And the example of what an @IMPDnews officer should be.
She will be sorely missed.
Officer Breann Leath of @IMPDEast was killed in the line of duty today. Her service and sacrifice for the Indianapolis community will never be forgotten. Please keep her family and IMPD family in your thoughts and prayers #LODD#RIP#NeverForget

Thank you to this officer @IMPDnews. He did some grocery bagging @kroger, recalling his first job. Everyone loved his (customer) service and his smile. You have another fine officer, here, @IMPD_Chief & @irishsarge.
