Officer Leath’s car will be parked in front of East District HQ (201 N. Shadeland) for community members to pay their respects in person. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, residents may drive by Officer Leath’s car to honor her service, but are asked to remain in their cars. (3/7)

It is with a heavy heart that @IMPD_Chief announces the untimely death of @IMPDEast Officer Breann Leath.

Officer Leath was a loving mother. A veteran. Daughter of a public servant family. And the example of what an @IMPDnews officer should be.

She will be sorely missed.
