Sad that the so-called “saving democracy” Democrats kept Cornel West off the ballot, but glad that there was a good alternative in Jill Stein. We need a President who’ll stand up for the little people not just the elites like Trump & Harris & who’ll say no to genocide. #IVoted
This is a ridiculous, unnecessary cheap shot on Caitlin Clark. I can’t believe some of these opposing players are out here still performing with this type of buffoonery. 🤦🏾♂️ #wnba
@harrisonjaime Man fuck that “love it or leave it” bullshit. How about people try and build a party that actually helps people instead of whatever the fuck you guys have been doing?
The party does not belong to any individual or generation, should't belong to any corp or special interest, and like all things, MUST adapt to the times for its own, and everybody's survival
We have a 2 party duopoly. And still have a duty to fight for our freedom
Millions of ppl believe our party should be bolder, less beholden, and loyal to the masses not the massa.
Your Blackness is not going to shield you from being a terrible politician. Let’s stop weaponizing Blackness because it’s a Zionists playbook and it’s really disrespectful to Black men, women, and children that have been victims to white supremacy/racial violence
The Dem establishment has no one to blame but themselves. Sorry! This is what you get when you offer nothing but “vote for me because Im not the Republican” for 15 years!
Jaime Harrison’s tweet is so revealing because it shows the attitude the DNC and party elites have toward voters. They believe it should be top down, that you work for them and you can only fail them.
Mind you, he oversaw the DNC while they lost election after election including the last presidential election.
Just look at em’ ! Just look at em’ Endorsing Espaillat over Darializa. Being silent over the bigoted attacks on her! They can’t even say that they loss fighting the “good fight” Especially disappointed in Yusef Salaam going along to get along. Just a bunch of sellouts! #losers
I’m so glad that more & more people of all races are calling out these establishment, corporation,AIPAC controlled Black politicians. It’s obvious they have went “into business for themselves” & no longer have the best interests of poor & working class people of any kind at heart
The response from Letitia James, Hakeem Jeffries, Jamie Harrison etc has essentially been to claim their candidates were entitled to victory and that it was underhanded (and maybe racist) to primary them. Not exactly a mystery why that wing of the party is struggling with voters.
Hakim Jeffries is supposed to be one of the top Democrat politicians but he got dissed and dismissed by his own city, they absolutely ignored his endorsements, so yeah he’s going be mad today
NEW: Following a rough night for several establishment-backed Democrats in New York, I asked Hakeem Jeffries if he's concerned about a future primary challenge from a Mamdani-backed candidate.
His response:
"When you ask me a serious question, I'll give you a serious answer."
Negros have gotten so used to using racism to cover Black politicians who were either corrupt, ineffective, or behind the times, it’s not surprising they try & play the victim when White folks (and a lot of Blacks) have tired of these politicians and are now calling them out!
It doesn’t matter who the establishment dem candidate is. Every time they lose I see these suburban black accounts talking about how they lost cuz white supremacy. This shit gets old, establishment dems are the white supremacy
Black liberals love using blackness as a shield to avoid accountability for politicians that don’t give a damn about Black people. You can’t keep crying racism when we criticize Hakeem Jeffries and Ritchie Torres when it’s clear that they prioritize Israel over the community.
The fact that no Black or latino organization, from the CBC to the NAACP, is willing to defend Darializa against this zionist/establishment harassment campaign speaks volumes about the limits of identity politics vs the power of monied interests.
Settler movement leader Daniella Weiss described a starvation strategy to expel Palestinians from Gaza: "After not giving them food, anything and causing famine, they will leave and the world will accept them."
