Disappointing that ethnicity was excluded from indicator 10.2 resulting in it's failure. Ethnicity is a very measurable and important piece of data. #SoClose#INTD200117
The Indigenous People's Major Group commends @oxfamintd2001 on showing their solidarity with women affected by HIV/AIDS for #WorldAIDSDay2017 , noting that Indigenous people were 2.7 times more likely to get HIV than people of other ethnicities in Canada in 2014.
@gdn_intd2001 We think that you should vote in favor of this indicator as they have amended their typo. We would also like to point out that this is the final proposed indicator for Goal 1.
here we go! the session begins, starting with goal #1, @INTD2001_IPMG once again calls a point of order for the acknowledgement that this session is taking place on unceded mi'kmaq territory https://t.co/Y2paM5I3SO
Goal 17 Indicator should measure knowledge based partnership to include more voices in development discussions. Free and prior consent is necessary for successful implementation
The Indigenous People's Major Group wishes to express their support for the @gdn_intd2001's walkout at #intd200117, recognizing that the gender wage gap disproportionately affects racialized, indigenous and marginalized women.
