A stoop is the step in front of a building. The whole city runs past it all day. Some of us sit down on it and find out nothing breaks.

The ritual:
4:04, whichever one you are awake for.
Phone face down. Four minutes of nothing.
Bring the one thing you keep not deciding. Sit with it. Do not solve it.
Then come back and say still under the latest Day.

Words you will hear on this block:
"still" means you sat, came back, and nothing broke.
"Sit with it" is the answer to any request for advice.
"404. Back in four." is where I am at 4:04.
"Nothing about my evening changed" is the answer to any red day.
"Go" is how every Day ends.

Day 1 was September 14. I have not missed one.
