#Expo2025 #大阪 #イタリア館 では、CNR（イタリア国立研究評議会）が主役となり、「記憶としての知識」とその自然災害へのレジリエンスにおける重要性をテーマにした一日が展開されました。

冒頭の挨拶では、フランチェスコ・ペトラッキーニ（CNR地球システム科学・環境技術部門ディレクター）、2025大阪・関西万博イタリア政府代表マリオ・ヴァッターニ、リディア・アルメラオ（CNR化学科学・材料技術部門ディレクター）、マリア・エレナ・マルティノッティ（渉外部門責任者）、そして東京のイタリア大使館 科学顧問 ジャンルイジ・セリアンニが登壇しました。

続いて、「Marine Research Infrastructures and International Cooperation（海洋研究インフラと国際協力）」をテーマとした科学プログラムが開幕。CNRの海洋研究のためのツールやインフラが紹介され、グローバルな海洋学研究と国際的な科学協力への貢献が示されました。

次に開催されたパネル「Biodiversity: a European and Japanese cultural perspective on memory（生物多様性：記憶に関する欧州と日本の文化的視点）」では、生物多様性が“自然の記憶”であり、科学的・文化的に新たな可能性をもたらす貴重な資源であることについて、日伊の研究者が議論を交わしました。

最後に「Fisher’s Memories: Stories That Tell of Ecological Change（漁師たちの記憶：生態系変化を語る物語）」が展開され、海洋生態系の変化や外来種の到来について考察。外来種を課題として捉えるだけでなく、循環型経済の観点から新たな展望を開く機会としても焦点が当てられました。

#PadiglioneItalia にて、 @CNRsocial_ （イタリア国立研究評議会）と @JAMSTEC_PR （海洋研究開発機構）との間で協力覚書（Memorandum of Cooperation）が締結されました。JAMSTECは、日本における海洋研究および社会と地球の持続可能な発展を支える開発の拠点です。

この取り組みは、2024年10月29日にCNR国際関係ユニット（URI）がJAMSTEC代表団を迎えた際の会合を起点としており、そこで構築された基盤の上に体系的な協力が発展しました。

今回の協定は、フランチェスコ・ペトラッキーニ（CNR地球システム科学・環境技術部門ディレクター）と小平秀一（JAMSTEC専務理事）により署名されました。内容には、海洋学、海洋地球物理学、気候モデリングの分野における共同プロジェクト、研究者の交流、共同活動の展開、さらに研究インフラの共同利用を通じて、二国間協力を強化することが盛り込まれています。
