NYC Administration for Children’s Services issued guidelines recognizing potential for permanent psychological harm if children are unable to see their parents/siblings, esp. during a crisis, & call for continued in-person visits in lower risk cases, based on public health info.
We're proposing the creation of a safe space for families to visit. We have spoken to a north end community space about this possibility!

Support for birth families is shockingly bad and, as I’ve said before, we should be ashamed as a country of how we look after them both pre & post losing their children.

Such a wonderful idea. BEAM has a tree in our local park dedicated to our children. The mums all raised the money for it. It is such a beautiful tribute to their children. No one plants a tree without hope. #forcedadoption#amumslove#neverforgotten
