I am appalled by the terrorist attack on a church in Eruku town, Kwara State.

Reports confirm that a number of members of the congregation were murdered and abducted during the attack.

As I have repeatedly pointed out, this horrific incident is yet another grim reminder of the alarming surge in violence disturbing our nation.

My deepest condolences go out to all the victims and their families during this painful time.

Once again, I urgently call on the Federal Government to take immediate and decisive action to secure the safe release and return of the kidnapped victims. - RMK
