In Mingli Village, Warwan Valley, Jammu & Kashmir, a devastating fire reduced 12 homes to ashes, leaving families facing the harsh realities of loss and the approaching winter. Standing with the affected families, Miles2Smile Foundation is on the ground, providing immediate relief and essential support. Our team is distributing warm blankets, household essentials, gas cylinders, and stoves to help families rebuild their lives with dignity. In the remote valleys of Warwan, Miles2Smile continues to stand beside vulnerable communities—turning solidarity into action and bringing hope where it is needed most.

About six years ago, I met the grieving family of Jamaluddin bhai in Shiv Vihar. During the brutal anti-Muslim Delhi Pogrom of 2020, he was lynched, leaving behind a family struggling to rebuild their lives from unimaginable loss.
At that time, Miles2Smile stood beside the family, helping them with their immediate needs. Later, four of his children were enrolled in our relief school in Loni, Ghaziabad, so that their education could continue despite everything they had endured.
His wife, Najis, has been working tirelessly to support the family. She makes and sells traditional cots to earn a livelihood.
This Ramadan, when I met the family again, Najis shared a simple but powerful wish. She wanted to rebuild and plaster the first floor of her home so that she could create another source of income for her family.
We promised to help.
With Zakat contributions, that promise has now been fulfilled.
Yesterday, we inaugurated their new Smile Home.
This is what Miles2Smile means to me — not just relief, but standing with families until they can rebuild their lives with dignity.
Another home. Another hope. Another set of smiles through Miles2Smile.

@Wiom_Official I paid ₹305 on 29 Aug for Wiom internet. Installation was promised for 30 Aug but never happened. My booking was cancelled, yet only ₹45 was refunded instead of ₹305.
Please refund my remaining ₹260 immediately. I have all the screenshots as proof. #Wiom
From Sweety Bibi, a woman from a slum who was allegedly detained and pushed across the border into Bangladesh, to research scholars Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid, now in their seventh year of incarceration, and senior IPS officers who were reportedly told not to sit in a Home Minister’s briefing — their lives could not be more different.
Yet, for many, there is a painful thread that binds these stories: the experience of humiliation, exclusion, or persecution associated with being an Indian Muslim.
Different lives. Different positions. Different circumstances. But the same question remains: how can an identity that is an integral part of India’s history and diversity become a source of such profound pain and humiliation?
