In our latest business breakdowns, @Valuehunte and Joshua Cohen sit down with @renoworks $RW.V CEO Doug Vickerson.
Vickerson discusses Renoworks' shift to an AI-powered platform and its push to convert one-time revenue into recurring revenue, which grew 36% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2026 on roughly 80% gross margins.

🔥... and there we go... $IFA.TO lands its 3rd major US retailer. Aura scrubs (IFTNA's own brand this time) launching in ~400 $TGT stores (roughly 20% of TGT's ~2,000 US stores) + online!

✅ Another mass retailer validating PROTX2 and ecoPEL techs, and at the same time, reducing $WMT concentration!
Initiated a position in $ALCH.V today at C$1.10 after its IPO.
I missed the offering, but I was happy to buy in the open market. My thesis is simple: a differentiated nanomaterials platform with a commercial automotive business providing a solid foundation, plus a high-upside defence vertical that could become a major value driver if commercialization continues to execute:

🚨 Still very early-stage and high risk, but I believe the risk/reward is compelling at this stage. I’ll be following the story closely!

Caldwell Partners - $CWL.TO
BEST PICK at $0.74
Last close: $1.11
Current return: +50%
Dividend paid as pick: $0.62/share
No wonder Caldwell Partners' stock price is trending higher as of late. Fiscal Q3 results drove revenue growth and a sharp improvement in profitability, with EPS coming in at $0.054. Even better, the company raised its dividend by 50% — the second increase in nine months.

$FTG.TO — Firan Technology Group | Q2 FY2026 Results
toronto-based aerospace & defence electronics supplier — printed circuit boards + cockpit/avionics products
📊 Q2 FY2026 Highlights (vs Q2 FY2025):
• Revenue: $52.7M (+8.2%)
• Gross margin: 36.5% (up from 32.6%)
• Net earnings: $5.0M (+45%)
• EPS: $0.20 (vs $0.14)
• Adjusted EBITDA: $10.5M (+20%)
• Free cash flow: $2.7M (vs -$5.5M)
🚀 Bookings & Backlog (records):
• bookings: $86.7M, +89% YoY — book-to-bill of 1.64:1
• backlog: $193.5M, +30% vs prior year-end
🏗️ Segments:
• circuits revenue $34.3M (+1.9%), adj net earnings $3.9M
• aerospace revenue $19.2M (+21%), adj net earnings $1.9M
• calgary site now profitable in 2026 (AFIRS Edge+ sales + licensing)
💰 Balance sheet:
• net debt just $2.9M (0.1x TTM EBITDA), incl $9.4M govt loans
• repaid $3.4M of loans in the quarter
record bookings and backlog are the real story here — a 1.64:1 book-to-bill points to a building revenue runway, with new classified defence programs and the DHC-515 firefighter and C919 ramps adding fresh demand. margins expanded on operational improvements, and the balance sheet is essentially debt-free. execution on that backlog is what to watch into H2.

My 2030 BULL CASE price targets for the stocks in my portfolio: post-Q1
1. $AMD to $1788
2. $NBIS to $1316
3. $IREN to $471
4. $HIMS to $161
5. $SOFI to $138
6. $ASTS to $626
6. $PNG.V to $49
7. $ONDS to $48
For this, obviously a lot needs to go right, including the economy.
🔮 My Top 4 Picks for H2’26 (in no particular order). Three of these I flagged in H1, they delivered, and they're still here because the biggest catalysts are ahead. One is a new add:
$CHER.V , $IFA.TO , $TTZ.V , $ZTE.CN
As mentioned in previous posts, these are mostly fast-growing, profitable (or almost) micro caps, with a few exceptions that I’ve included due to near-term catalysts that could materially change their financials. From a technical perspective, all of them also appear to be in very bullish setups.
🚨 As with any micro cap, it’s important to closely monitor both fundamentals and technicals, as most of these are not “buy and hold forever” names.
⚠️ I hold all four, not advice!
Hope you enjoy! 🧵👇
This can change week to week based on price action ie valuations & multiples but as of today, my 8 favorite ai stocks outside of data centers and neoclouds are:
$CRDO
$ALAB
$MU
$HYNIX
$AAOI
$LITE
$BE
$FPS
This covers you for connectivity, memory, opticals and power… ie my favorite 2 from each group.
We also own $NVDA $AMD $INTC but those valuations are much less compelling at current prices.
I do think $NVDA looks cheap but it’s already a $5T company and I don’t think the stock doubles over the next few years because of increasing competition from TPUs and ASICs.
NFA.
DYOR.
*We own all 11 stocks mentioned in this post at @FirstWaveFund and we started a new position in $AVGO this morning (premarket).
