Our game Puzzling Places is coming to Steam on April 9th. It will give you hours of flow and relaxtion. If that's your kind of thing share and give it a review on launch day, because it will help with the algorithmn. https://t.co/piXsDNsEWZ
Hey!
If you are curious about "song" games, you should check our demo and consider wishlisting us on Steam!
@OffScoreProject has seen many years of iteration and development, but I'm happy to say we are almost there and we'll release very soon!

@NOTimothyLottes I am not sure about Epics case, since that depends on their growth strategy for fortnite, but honestly, I am starting to think its a bit pointless to try to perdict the future atm. So many assumptions would need to be made to even know whats going to happen in 5 years.
Even among those tiny parts of the tech industry that are riding the AI wave to riches, I have heard too often that a source of motivation is fear. A sense that we are on a critical junction and whoever doesnt adopt is left behind.
Around me, I see a lot of people in tech and entertainment feeling a bit down and lost. AI plays a role, but its a general sense of hopelessness and lack of some positive vision of future to strive for. I am wondering if my sample is biased, or if its a bigger general trend.
@AdrianLarionArt I am not a fan of trellis family of generation for gamedev. they look better, but tend to make layers of faces that require a visibility based remesher
its crazy how far local generation models have gotten. This one is using only open source local models, made on a consumer GPU. Chain together a couple of open source stuff like XAtlas and retopo library, and you get a pretty ok model fully local
@our_ta_martin comfy yes. though I have a custom wrapper around it for ease of use. this is a combi of Qwen+multiview hunyuan+UltraTex with flux+xatlas+blender
@StudioFoxtales something like this, there are also some more focused on solving an animation friendly topology on a face, this one is more about cleaner edge loops https://t.co/a4v9VaZXXg
I think from time to time its great to do cool impractical things that invoke people's imagination and sense of wonder. That car hanging upside down did that for me.
I was looking at this today too. Turns out investors dont care much for cars that backflip or go up a wall or accelerate so fast that the driver would pass out. That said, 100 percent prefer whatever Tesla did for a concept car compared to whatever other companies are doing
@CZAzuaga Short answer, no clue. I can give you a lot of theory based on data, economics etc. But to me it seems the only way to know is to participate in whateever is going on and figure out through real trial and error if whatever is coming is still an industry you want to or can be in.
@Azadux@Naysy@tovanbo he is a clickable item in the narriatve. If you hover your mouse he gets highlighted, click on it and you get a voice of narration "Thomas... he looks so happy here!"
@matiasgoldberg@RhysSullivan If I win a lottery, I would spend a decade just making photo shop but in blender, with layers that can be nodes and are non descrutable and a full c++ backend instead of the java script stuff.
Looking at peoples 9 games, I think most people just want to be teenagers again. I realized there are so many amazing games I have played over the years, but nothing beats the late nights in counter strike, or that first vespa in vice city.
And here the winter version of The magic school demo scene I made on my @Sketchfab
The scene was almost fully made with geometry nodes. All the buildings, landscape and natural elements etc. https://t.co/bKqiAnaR51
