AAC INAUGURATES SOWORE–MAGASHI 2027 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL, TAKES NATIONAL MOBILISATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL

The African Action Congress (AAC) has inaugurated the Sowore–Magashi 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), marking a major step forward in the Party’s preparations to mobilise Nigerians for the 2027 presidential election.
The inauguration brings together a structured team of political strategists, organisers, policy advocates, media professionals, digital campaigners, election specialists, legal practitioners, finance personnel and grassroots mobilizers who will coordinate the campaign across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Campaign Council will be led by Director-General Abdullahi Usman, supported by deputies responsible for Strategy & Political Affairs and Diaspora & Resource Mobilisation, alongside the Campaign Council Secretary, Juwon Sanyaolu.
Ten national directorates have also been established to drive the campaign’s core functions, including Strategy and Policy, Grassroots Mobilisation, Labour and Civil Society Engagement, Publicity and Communications, Digital Media, Data and Technology, Election Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and Administration and Field Operations.
At the grassroots, the campaign structure will connect state, LGA, ward and polling-unit coordinators, building a nationwide network of volunteers, canvassers, polling agents and supporters.

The AAC acknowledges that the coordination and mobilisation of the Sowore 2027 campaign has, to date, been significantly powered by the innovative SOWORENOW app, which has provided an important digital platform for organising supporters and coordinating campaign activities.
The Presidential Campaign Council is not a replacement for this digital mobilisation infrastructure; rather, it is designed to upscale, deepen and expand it. The Council will combine the power of technology with physical grassroots organisation, political coordination and community-level mobilisation to ensure that the Sowore–Magashi campaign reaches Nigerians in every part of the country.

This AAC is clear about the historic task before us. The 2027 election is not merely about changing the occupant of Aso Rock; it is about changing the political direction of Nigeria.

As the old political order continues to fail Nigerians, the AAC is taking its message directly to the people, from the cities to the rural communities, from state capitals to the polling units.
The inauguration of the Campaign Council therefore signals the beginning of an intensified nationwide mobilisation.

We call on Nigerians who believe that Nigeria can and must be different to join us. The task of taking back our country cannot be left to politicians alone; it requires the active participation of the People.

you are probably a decent, well-intentioned person. Unfortunately, I think the system has broken you. It has stripped you of your sense of justice and, more unfortunately it has warped your sense of what is right and wrong.

The idea that some kids could simply be having fun and participating in an obvious trend seems to have been completely lost. They didn't expose any patient. They didn't reveal the hospital's name. They were simply doing what humans do: having fun.

Yet somehow, their lives are being ruined, in a country that is desperately short of healthcare professionals.

What troubles me most is that you didn't just fail to see the obvious injustice and cruelty in what happened. You actually align yourself to the perspective of the people imposing that cruelty.

And that tells me something deeply uncomfortable about Nigeria.

We have been conditioned to accept oppression in almost every form, and sometimes even defend it. These kids were simply hit by the same cruel, toxic environment that broke you, stripped away your ability to question authority, and turned you into the obedient conformist you are today.

After a thorough review and analysis of your response to my earlier sent mail and the documents attached thereto, including an independent assessment by a number of data experts, and having allowed eight (8) days from the date of receipt of your correspondence for the materials provided to be properly scrutinised, I have now concluded my review.

My formal response to your correspondence has accordingly been sent to your email, with the relevant authorities previously copied into this matter by you duly retained in copy @NgComCommission and @fccpcnigeria

For the avoidance of doubt, this Twitter post is also part of my response to MTN’s correspondence. My decision to communicate publicly on the matter does not derogate from, replace or constitute a waiver of my formal written response. Rather, it is an additional exercise of my right to publicly communicate my experience and position concerning a matter that is already the subject of a formal complaint and regulatory engagement.

FINAL UPDATE:

I have spoken with the lady. She is safe. Her mobile phone and international passport were held by Customs who were trying to clarify some issues. She was unable to reach anyone while the process was ongoing. However, she has been cleared and released, and has possession of her properties. She has contacted her family, too.

She assured me that she is safe, and she appreciates everyone who showed concern for her safety.

I would like to thank a dear Nigerian, @YusufAdesoga, who collaborated wot me and, at great inconvenience, visited all security agencies in Doha, and eventually tracked the lady to where she was found today.

Mr. Yusuf is exemplary, and I appreciate his effort.

I must also acknowledge the lady's brother, Jibo, for sounding the alarm bell when his sister went incommunicado. He refused to back down, and his effort got millions of Nigerians united in an effort to find his sister.

Thanks to everybody for the kind words of support and encouragement. Thanks for uniting in a moment such as this.

With her direct assurance that she is safe, I now consider this case closed from my end.

lol, 2am and I’m still battling with a muddled up report I received from MTN around 11pm😂😂

I’m grateful MTN used their hands to formally involve @NgComCommission and @fccpcnigeria in this matter.

I didn’t involve the agencies, MTN did themselves so I’ll be on the lookout to see what the agencies have to say but @MTNNG you will 100% hear from me because you’re not even customer-centric at all‼️. Taking this matter to court wasn’t even in my book at all. I just wanted a detailed explanation I could review and I would have honorably taken my L if i discovered that I was the one that was a darosha which my data which I swear that I wasn’t because what do I even do😭. I’m most of them time busy on the road shooting videos with my phone with no time to surf internet and my WiFi is always only connected when I’m surfing the internet, if I am not surfing the internet, my phone WiFi is always turned off.

I’m one person that is so data conscious because I am extremely financially conscious but you think in your heart of hearts, I deserved what you sent last night ‼️.

The only readable thing you sent wasn’t even a detailed stuff that could give me a satisfactory answer.
