The third attempt was to employ Stentriever, and at the same time, Tirofiban was administered. Waiting for about 10 minutes, forward blood flow can be maintained well. This time, the stent was not retracted directly, but reloaded into micro-catheter, then withdrawn with MC. The blood flow finally reached TICI 3. The next day, the CT image was reviewed with a small infarction lesion, NIHSS 2 points.
Great work by our first Nigerian graduate @fonzyu. It is the most basic procedures that can have the biggest impact, this is particularly true when resources are limited. #irad for the win ๐
