Essentia Health-Virginia broke ground today on a $13 million Emergency Department expansion that will add five new exam rooms, including dedicated behavioral health space, upgraded technology and enhanced security. Supported by $3.3 million in IRRR funding.

The Minnesota Discovery Center will unveil its newly renovated Hall of Geology on May 22 in Chisholm. The free public event runs from 5-8 p.m. and features updated exhibits focused on Iron Range geology, minerals and fossils.
