Come join us at the 2025 International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technology (ISSST) in Minneapolis! 🌎
We are currently accepting abstracts for presentations, posters, and workshops-deadline is January 9th
And that's a wrap on @ISSSTNetwork 's 2024 conference. With a poster and six presentations covering minerals, hydrogen, water, synbio, and polymers @nu_chbe was very well represented!
There were 35 wonderful posters at @ISSSTNetwork 's 2024 conference. Group member Maddie presented our work wtih @DTELab about the environmental effects of #synbio technology as it expands its footprint in the chemical industry.
Another great presentation @ISSSTNetwork by our student @peijin_j ,👏titled "Revealing Material Requirements and Environmental Impact for Canadian Wind Energy Development Based on Material Flow Analysis"
We are off and running at #ISSST2024 . This is our favorite conference every year. Jenna previewed her upcoming presentation in a lightning talk. @ISSSTNetwork

It's about response capacity, not the Curve.
Here's my preprint with @ddwoods2 & Dave Alderson about the 4 things we need to make the Curve irrelevant.

@SaraMeerow Go to https://t.co/wTgsQPumgk and watch the video series by @ddwoods2 and @seagertp.
It is way ahead of the news cycle, and the best sources of insights into resilience engineering related to the pandemic.
They tell us, an article is to follow.
Without better data, COVID-19 response is like racing thru the fog. Maintaining adaptive capacity requires staying open to new data, continuous reframing, and avoiding irreversible commitments. https://t.co/jpkcVINBJ5 @ResEngAssoc
This ISSST2020-Resilience video keynote series is a deep dive conversational analysis of the COVID-19 response in healthcare infrastructure. Sometimes, the conversation is high conflict, yet it stays creative. @seagertp@ddwoods2
