The ISTS 2018 keynote lecturer in the tendon ageing session is Dr Graham Riley. He is a biochemist with international reputation in the field of tendon pathology, currently affiliated with the University of East Anglia.
We have a new key note speaker to announce for our tendon pain session: Dr. Ebonie Rio @tendonpain will tell us everything about this subject. She is a sports physiotherapist and research fellow at LaTrobe University, she is an expert in the field of pain in tendinopathy.
New in this yearβs ISTS conference are poster pitches in the plenary sessions. A selection from the accepted posters will have a chance to pitch their poster and get people interested to come to their poster.
Congratulations to all accepted abstracts for ISTS2018! A great number of 126 abstracts have been accepted, 40 of those for an oral presentation. Many interesting studies will be presented in September!

Terrific to see friend Prof Graham Riley as a keynote speaker.
Next to all the tendon specific presentations on ISTS 2018, there will also be βWhat can we learn from ...β sessions. In these sessions, specialists in the field of osteo-arthritis and spondylo-arthritis will show us what we can learn from those injuries for tendons.
