Today we attended a post-conference workshop led by @ChevalierManu. We are learning about crestr, an r package that produces climate reconstructions based on fossil assemblage data.

Tonight we put a hood on Dr. Hung Ha, who defended his dissertation at the end of the summer and completed this semester. Hung is currently teaching at Fredonia, but came back for the ceremony.

Congratulations to @AddisonBlaydes for successfully defending her MS thesis today on the #diatom #paleoecology of Clear Lake, Iowa! Addi is the first student in our accelerated MS program to defend a thesis. #EESINDSTATE
