@Bezner We have had 2 dog deaths since we started having a pair of dogs at a time. The best advice we ever received was to allow the survivor dog to smell the dead body of the dog that passed. Dogs are pack animals and it allowed the survivor to know and adjust. My condolences!

@jamesjardin11 Yeah, asserting one's right to pray on the 50-yard line, is not is alignment with Jesus' approach to prayer or winsome evangelism. It's just pharisaical.

@SteveTundraSwan @drantbradley Totally agree with @SteveTundraSwan and would add that one learns to control the automatic emotional response to that chaotic stimuli and learns to chose how to respond unemotionally. It is a key skill to learn to improve the ability of troops to respond well under duress.
