Leaders from the Near East & North Africa joined @StateIVLP "Young Leaders RISE" to explore initiatives for engaging youth to drive economic growth. While visiting @wacphila, they met with non-profits, civic organizations, and volunteered with @C2CPhiladelphia!
Last month, 5 African professionals joined @StateIVLP to explore hands-on strategies to combat illegal fishing. Their U.S. journey spanned D.C., Oregon (@worldoregon), Ohio (@globalcincynky), Rhode Island & Massachusetts (@WorldBoston), building tools & partnerships for change.
In July, international visitors joined an #IVLP project on "Digital Standards: Fostering Security and Innovation" across four US cities. The group explored how tech leadership and international cooperation promote prosperity. Thanks to @gciv for their warm welcome to Atlanta!

Innovation is at the heart of IVLP! The projects Iraq: IP Rights, Laos: Science, Tech, & Innovation, & Indonesia: Advancing Digital Diplomacy all took on innovation through different lenses, equipping visitors with skills & knowledge about fostering creativity & change back home.
IIE hosted a @StateIVLP delegation on Trafficking in Persons: Prevention and Mitigation. In DC, they visited the Department of Labor to learn more about federal efforts against child and forced labor. Thank you @USDOL for an informative and productive meeting!
Happy #WorldArtDay! Today we celebrate the power of art in cultural exchange. Former @StateIVLP multi-regional project, "Promoting Social Change Through Art," shows how arts education engages youth and serves as a public diplomacy tool to strengthen U.S. relationships abroad.

We joined our @GlobalTiesUS colleagues for the 2025 National Meeting, attending sessions and sharing best practices on the theme "Stronger Communities, Stronger Alliances." IIE's, Fred Kitchen, won a Network Honor Award for her outstanding work over the years. Congrats, Fred!
IVLP participants from Kazakhstan explored themes around ‘Fiscal Transparency’ and visited several local officials across four states. Program highlights included a visit to the Office of the Attorney General in Washington and the New Mexico State Capitol.
During "Approaches to Urban Search and Rescue in the United States," Americans and IVLP participants from Türkiye shared best practices in earthquake response. Program highlights included meetings with the FDNY and MD National Guard.
