The State Department is starstruck.

At last week’s second annual US Space Forum, the US Mission to the International Organizations in Vienna launched Project Constellation, a $5M effort to build international space partnerships.

The State Department tapped three US organizations to run the program:

💰 Meridian International Center—the prime recipient—will oversee strategy, delivery, partner coordination, and finances, and organize exchanges through its diplomatic and industry networks.

🏛️ The Commercial Space Federation will lead the commercial side, promoting procurement and building business partnerships with US companies.

📝 SPACEAIMS—a public policy consulting firm—will guide the law, policy, governance, and diplomacy work, including country assessments, policy dialogues, and training.

American influence is evolving. So are the leaders shaping it.

On Friday, Meridian International Center convened leaders at the forefront of government, business, technology, and diplomacy for the 15th Annual Meridian Summit, bringing together the people and perspectives shaping America's role on the world stage.

From economic security and emerging technologies to global partnerships and the future of diplomacy, the conversations reinforced a defining reality: America's global influence is built through the strength of its relationships, the reach of its innovation, and the leadership of those working across sectors and borders.

This year's Summit also marked several major milestones for Meridian: the unveiling of the United Airlines Center for Diplomatic Engagement, the announcement of our inaugural New Architects of American Influence cohort, and the presentation of the Meridian Corporate Leadership Award to Conor McQuaid, Chairman & CEO of @Pernod_Ricard North America, recognizing his leadership in advancing international business and global engagement.

Thank you to our distinguished speakers for bringing their expertise and perspectives to the stage, and to our partners for making this year's Summit possible. Together, we're helping shape the next era of American influence.

An evening of Americana. A celebration of diplomacy.

Last night, Meridian International Center welcomed leaders from across government, business, diplomacy, and beyond for the 58th Annual Meridian Ball, one of Washington's most distinguished diplomatic traditions.

Following an evening of intimate dinners hosted at embassies across the nation's capital, guests gathered at Meridian House for a celebration of American history, culture, and the relationships that connect the United States to the world.

This year's theme, An Evening of Americana, brought American history to life through historic streetscapes, period performers, and immersive experiences inspired by eras past, all against the backdrop of an unforgettable evening of diplomacy.

Chaired by Sarah and Ross Perot, Jr., Senator Bill Hagerty and Mrs. Chrissy Hagerty, and Representative April McClain Delaney and The Honorable John Delaney, the evening celebrated the power of bringing people together across borders, sectors, and generations.

Thank you to our co-chairs, partners, embassy hosts, and guests for making the 58th Annual Meridian Ball a night to remember.
