Take any basic amentity food, clothing, bottled water in this case are all absolute necessities and all come with a price tag. There exists a right to buy at reasonable prices.

Also inadequate and consistent raw material availability, logistics costs etc will drive up costs beyond controllable levels. There is no proven market for premium drinking water as well.

The benefits of paying tax do not accrue back to the consumers wholly which means they are shelling out more money from their pockets for basic amenities.
