@Role_Play_Chat I usually dont unless they do it somewhere unsafe or unusual and dont make any preperations to guard against it. Such as sleeping in a decrepit forest full of undead that is owned by a mysterious lich, its probably worth emphasising the danger of the area in this way.
@RealGreyMage personally i like prep and prep work, which usually involves desiging and making cities and battle maps for my players to explore. It may be becase my game is online but i am a very visual story teller so, i dont want my players to be looking at a blank screen.
I almost forgot to talk about it, but i decided to remake one of my campaigns city maps now that i am a little bit more experianced and confident at making them, finished this about a month ago but here is the old and new Krados #dnd5e#dndmaps
@2minutetabletop you ever thought about doing another Wonderdraft pack but for 1900's buildings such as factories, townhouses, apartments and railroads? i tried it myself once but it never turned out so well haha. Ive always loved your maps and assets!
@RealGreyMage I prefer for my player to have backstories, but only for long campaigns. I want to be able to include the player as part of the story in a way that is integral for their character, help them resolve something from their past etc, or kill a family member who knows haha
@Limitless5e I prefer having a proper battlemap. The map cna help enhance a players, or dms, imagination of the scene, especially if the map is well made by a good artist
I have been preparing a dungeon for my players over the last few weeks and i have finally finished a few days ago. I am very excited to have them run it in a couple of months! Here are a few tokens i made to prepare for it. #dndart#dnd5e
ive been looking back at some of the old city maps i have made for my campaigns in the past, and i am pretty happy at the progress i have made in the design of them. #dnd5e#mapmaking#OC#dndmaps
