Huntington City Fire upgraded rescue tools to the HURST eDRAULIC line of electric-hydraulic tools.They require no hoses and no power unit. Gaining speed and mobility, firefighters cut up cars and tested out the capabilities and versatility of the tools at Clark’s salvage yard

A crew worked on their vehicle extrication skills. Firefighter and patient safety is important at all times, but especially in these situations. Once on scene, we must first stabilize the vehicle. We then we will use the jaws of life to cut the car away from the patient.#hfd680

Congratulations to Chief Tony Johnson and Lieutenant Duane Nabb on getting sworn in today. Tony has 26 years of experience to the fire service, and Duane has 29 years. Between these two men they bring 55 years of experience, knowledge, service and dedication.#hfd680
