To grow food, we need nature. The UK Government must increase investment in nature friendly farming. #NatureCantWait

"I won't provide air defense because I want to stop death"
Remember these words. A US president chose to enable russia's airstrikes to compel their victim into submission.

30 years ago I brought the first Eurasian beavers back to Britain from Poland. More followed in later years from Bavaria and Norway. At times is seemed a near hopeless dream. Very few helped in the beginning. Now they are officially back with widespread support. Hooray !!!
No
I’m quite happy to accept the science and do my bit and more
We might learn all sorts of things in the future and I’ll change my mind
But I actually want us to reduce fossil fuel emissions and look after our environment much better
The NFU are absolutely right
No one wants to dodge tax - we aren’t even eligible anyway - the better tax is on the sale of the land at full rate through clawback
The ongoing productive farm wouldn’t pay
Really good compromise
No one would dodge taxes
And it’s revenue neutral
Reform are panicking about people pointing out that they want to replace the NHS. So please don't share this clip of Nigel Farage saying he'd rather healthcare was done through insurance companies.
Why are @Tesco importing onions from New Zealand when there will be thousands of tonnes in UK farm stores?
How can that be done with a 99p retail price ? ….. never mind carbon footprint of shipping 11700 miles
This is fundamentally wrong & demonstrates just how broken our food system is
Supermarkets support British farmers 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ……. yeah righto !

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
Our moronic food system
Ban pesticide products here
Make U.K. products more expensive
Then import cheaper food from foreign farmers produced with the banned pesticides and undermine our farmers
Danny Sriskandaraja, "Steve Reed talked about he ideology and the question is why are we paying for the ineptitude of the water companies" #BBCQT
"We're not.. We paying for the ideology of the 1980s moment of deciding to privatise somethings human's can't do without, water"
"Worse still its based on awful economics.. Why would you privatise a service which is effectively a monopoly?"
"This is the biggest heist in plain site.. £85 billion has been paid to the shareholders of water companies.. While we have been treated like cash-cows.. How can that be right"
Our last planned Red Deer walk of the autumn is coming up on Saturday and we have 2 places available - we've had some great experiences this year so check out our upcoming walk page for more information and to book your space 👇 @DerbysWildlife

FARMWASHING 🚨
Cumbrian farmer Charlotte Ashley says supermarkets are 'insulting and misleading' farmers and shoppers through marketing tactics which give the impression that products come from British farms when, in fact, they do not. 🇬🇧
Where do you stand? 🛒

The most remarkable story I have covered: the origin of oak mildews is astonishing. Also fascinated by how they make mature trees more susceptible to drought and hinder woodland regeneration. More videos: https://t.co/qXegaJOJzl
England’s nature-friendly farming budget to be cut by £100m | Farming | The Guardian. Well so much for a bright new future. It will be time to say goodbye to much of the little that's left. https://t.co/z7mzPShPY5
And everyone seems to think that if you say one form of land management is good or interesting you’re against everything else
That’s bloody daft
There might thirty or forty ways to manage land and produce food and all of them might have a place in the mosaic we need
