I feel like this is the place where people need reminding: polls are not absolute predictions. Clinton was expected to win according to polls in 2016, and we know what happened. Neither side should be doubting election results that don’t match polls.
Slowly weaning off *waves hands* this platform. Gonna see how long I can NOT update to the new logo and hold onto my good bird memories for a little bit longer.
Worth noting I don’t make exceptions based on age. Either gotta teach them young, or let them know that age doesn’t mean the rules of society no longer apply.
There’s an odd and concerning satisfaction in subway etiquette. I don’t tolerate people cutting the line. You’re not special. So your “surprised” grunts/moans when I literally block you/cut you off and you get bumped to the side trying to cut the line is music to the ears.
Knocked my post-run coffee onto the floor with the hose of the vacuum as I was cleaning this morning. This is what I get for being proactive and trying to get all chores done early.
Most infuriating commute ever. It has NEVER taken me an hour to commute until today. I could almost ride my bike here faster.
…just checked. I CAN ride my bike here faster than my commute today. Unreal.
Seriously line 2, you need to get your shit together. I don’t care if you start cutting people in half with the doors as they close, stay on schedule so my train doesn’t stop 40 times in the middle of the tracks during my commute.
The inaccuracy of apps for the Line 2 train times is infuriating. Just don’t even post a schedule, you’re always wildly wrong and probably cause countless missed connections/late appointments.
Was devastated to learn of the passing of a friend from North Korea last night. Would have never expected such a thing. I don’t know all the details, but I know my heart is broken.
Today’s random realization is that 10 years ago I could barely walk, let alone run. Astounding how somehow my body bounced back from 22 to 32 to the point I ran a marathon in March 🤯
Will forever be baffled by the people that really push their way onto a crowded subway car and then proceed to immediately go “aigoo” in surprise when people are bumping into them/immobile. The car is full, you expected the path to clear like the Red Sea?
@Josh_Merfeld Appears that most of the replies also haven’t read the release (or if they have, they’ve got horrible reading comprehension skills).
It’s literally one page, but the TLDR is, “no demand anymore, not gonna make it, no point in keeping up its authorization.” Not that hard.
Ah yes, another instance of escalator ignorance to kick off my Saturday.
This tweet brought to you by, “I missed my train by 5 seconds due to these jerks, and have the time to tweet now.”
