Can we talk about how many "streamer partnerships" in this space are complete theater?

Pitch deck: millions of followers, insane engagement, "I convert players like nobody else," guaranteed ROI on volume.

Reality: I click the stream mid-broadcast. 300-something viewers. Chat is basically silent, a couple of bot-looking messages, nothing organic. No real conversation, no community, nothing.

Say something about it? Suddenly, 3 mods appear out of nowhere and start machine-gunning the chat with copy-paste spam to make it look "alive" again. It's honestly kind of impressive how fast the cover-up kicks in.

Brands are paying flat fees, CPA, and rev-share based on screenshots and follower counts that mean nothing without actual engagement behind them. This is why so many partnerships underperform, and everyone blames "the market" instead of the obvious: the audience was never real to begin with.

If you're a streamer and you want to actually pull volume: grow organically, be consistent, engage your real community, learn what drives retention. It's not glamorous, but it works. Or keep buying followers and coaching your mods to fake a pulse. Your call.
