In Chinese history, the Wei-Jin and Northern and Southern Dynasties period (220–589 AD) lasted 369 years, with more than 30 major regimes and 1,677 wars, averaging 4.6 wars a year.

Anyone familiar with this period of Chinese history can understand why China considers its sovereignty over Taiwan non-negotiable.

Chinese history taught the Chinese people a fundamental truth: "the division of a country brings frequent wars and instability, while unity brings peace and prosperity."

"National unity" is part of the Chinese DNA. Only when the country’s sovereignty is complete can its people enjoy a peaceful life.

We will never accept Taiwan becoming a separate regime and remaining in long-term confrontation with the rest of China.

Taiwan will inevitably return to the motherland.
The only question is when.

Today, China is strong enough to achieve reunification peacefully. The Chinese people also have the patience to wait as the economic and military gap across the Taiwan Strait continues to widen, until Taiwan’s regime ultimately compromises and agrees to peaceful reunification.

Any attempt by Japan 🇯🇵 or another country to interfere with China’s reunification would amount to a declaration of war on China.

Keep in mind that China today is very different from the China of the 19th century, when foreign powers could push China around. Such a provocation could be disastrous for your country.
